The Alm Hideaway is a private chalet between Salzburg and Tyrol, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, offering peace, nature, and authenticity—just as it used to be. The easiest way to travel by car from Germany is via the Inntal motorway (A93/A12) to Kufstein, continuing via Kitzbühel and the Pass Thurn towards Mittersill. The nearest airports for travel from Germany are Salzburg and Innsbruck, as well as Munich with numerous international connections.

In summer, you can easily reach the Alm Hideaway by car. Whether you are coming from Tyrol or Salzburg, take the B161 federal highway and drive for about 10 minutes on a well-maintained forest road to the Alm. There you can park your car directly at the Alm and enjoy the secluded location in the middle of the mountains.

In winter, park your vehicle in the valley and reach the alpine pasture on foot or with snowshoes in about 40 minutes.
